Alfie Kaye was 2 years old when he was kidnapped
by herring crazed gypsies who took him around
the world in search of the perfect herring.
Meanwhile, at the Kaye house, his parents Ida
and Marvin and his two younger brothers Imo and
Itzo never gave up the search for little Alfie.
Years passed till one day (and lots of herring
later) Alfie was reunited with his parents, when,
just by chance they heard his commanding squack
of a voice call out "Who wants herring?"
at a fish market in Toledo, Ohio.
Thrilled to be back home in Toronto with his
loved ones, Alfie would regularly regale his family
with tales of his adventures in the herring trade
on the high seas.
His herring years had paid off. Alfie grew to
be an orator among men who could tell a story
or sell a fish like no other.
Alfie Kaye is honourd to bring his wonderful
gift of the gab to your function and who knows,
afterwards maybe you could all go out for herring
too.
